Public bug reported: I'm using PXE with subiquity and autoinstall (no-cloud). The user- data/autoinstall script also setups a LAG/bond. Subiquity reports `finish: subiquity/Mirror/lookup: FAIL: cancelled` this stops the installation process. The network configuration is applied successfully, just before.
After the installation is stoped I verified if the network configuration was working while the installer is still loaded and it is. My guess is, that while the configuration is switched to LAG/bond the connection is lost for a brief moment until reconfigured, but subiquity tries to lookup the mirrors at that exact moment of reconfiguration/waiting for the LAG/bond to be up. If I do the same configuration manual in the UI, it works fine. I also tried the refresh-installer with channel edge. Is there any simple/easy way to introduce for me a tiny delay/wait until the LAG is configured? ** Affects: subiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Last Curtion Webhooks" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1885390/+attachment/5387753/+files/curtin-webhooks.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1885390 Title: Switching to bond and using autoinstall leads to Mirror/lookup FAIL To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/subiquity/+bug/1885390/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
