You're right.. it is funny because that man page exists for eoan. Focal
should not have that man page (and it does not when checking existing
source packages). Somehow the man page was copied in
"manpages.ubuntu.com" 20.04 session).
Bionic
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man5/iwpmd.conf.5.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man7/rxe.7.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man8/iwpmd.8.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man8/rdma-ndd.8.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man8/rxe_cfg.8.gz
Eoan
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man5/iwpmd.conf.5.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man7/rxe.7.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man8/iwpmd.8.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man8/rdma-ndd.8.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man8/rxe_cfg.8.gz
Focal
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man5/iwpmd.conf.5.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man7/rxe.7.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man8/iwpmd.8.gz
rdma-core: /usr/share/man/man8/rdma-ndd.8.gz
Nevertheless, you're probably looking for:
/usr/share/doc/rdma-core/rxe.md
now: it shows that you should use "rdma" command in order to configure a
soft-roce (RXE) device:
iproute2: /usr/bin/rdma
And the "rdma" command comes with iproute2 package.
I'm moving this bug to Ubuntu project.
