Public bug reported:
This is a dupe of Debian #907193 (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=907193) and Red Hat 1713160
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1713160).
The bug occurs with at least imapfilter v2.6.11 (distributed with 18.04)
and probably older versions. A fix appears in v2.6.12, and Debian has
their own patch.
What I expected to happen:
A successful connection to imap.google.com.
What actually happens:
A prompt as follows:
Server certificate subject: /OU=No SNI provided; please fix your
client./CN=invalid2.invalid
Server certificate issuer: /OU=No SNI provided; please fix your
client./CN=invalid2.invalid
Server certificate serial: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Server key fingerprint: 90:4A:C8:D5:44:5A:D0:6A:8A:10:FF:CD:8B:11:BE:16
