Public bug reported:

Previous ubuntu install completed, but PC wouldn't boot to it, only to
windows.

Booted PC using USB Stick. Then started new install, erasing previous
install.

Removed USB stick in error, aborting install midway.  Replaced USB
stick, rebooted and continued install.  Install continued sucessfully,
but then crashed.
