Public bug reported: There is a bug in carbon-cache which generates a lot of uncaught exceptions, creating unneeded load and rapidly filling up the carbon logs (more than 1G in 10 hours).
The bug is described in more detail here: https://github.com/graphite- project/carbon/issues/815 There is a fix in release 1.1.5 (we're on 1.1.4 currently) which also claims to have better support for Python 3. I would even suggest updating to the latest release 1.1.7 because it does not run on python 3.8 otherwise. ** Affects: graphite-carbon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1887779 Title: recurrent uncaught exception To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/graphite-carbon/+bug/1887779/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
