Work around is to call pip as a module, i.e. $ python -m pip
but note there is no python2 version of pip, and no pip2 either. A bit more care needs to be taken to introduce pip that is forward compatible with what is in groovy. In groovy python3-pip ships pip & pip3 both of which are python3 version. ** Changed in: what-is-python (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1887098 Title: Installing python-is-python3 should affect pip as well To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/what-is-python/+bug/1887098/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
