I decided to remove Ubuntu from my system as there was no way that I could
get the mouse to work on an installed version. I have since ordered the
current version, but have been too "timid" to install it as I do not want
the same issues again. The only way It seems that I can get the mouse to
work in Ubuntu is to run Ubuntu from the disc, which is strange as the
drivers on it should be the same as the drivers on the installed version.

Perhaps someone else there could come up with a solution.

Regards, Keith

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue
for you? Thanks in advance.
