Hi, thanks for the feedback. Meanwhile, due to the above and other issues and because I need the system for productive work, I have switched to mate. However, I just logged into a Gnome Flashback Metacity session and to my big surprise recognized that the missing menu bars are actually located in the bottom (gnome-)panel, instead of at the top of the application's window. I am not sure if they already were there when I initially reported the bug, because I usually use auto-hide for that panel and only rarely raise it.
I have attached the dump as requested. ** Attachment added: "gnome-panel_dump" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-flashback/+bug/1876758/+attachment/5396441/+files/gnome-panel_dump -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1876758 Title: Menu bar missing for various applications To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-flashback/+bug/1876758/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
