I commented out the three lines in /etc/rc.local and did the following: $ echo "blacklist btusb" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-btusb.conf $ sudo update-initramfs -u $ sudo reboot now
output of dmesg does not contain "Bluetooth" (case sensitive) anymore and `lsmod | grep bt` gives no results. The battery consumption while sleeping is still the same. Syslog unchanged. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1886920 Title: Battery drain during sleep.
