Hello, Though this bug is fixed for me. I know that others still experience this.
I am part of an ubuntu group on facebook. I constantly see posts of people losing wifi once theyre computer wakes up from standby. I post my fix to use stacer to disable bluetooth and change your power saving options. See I initially had this issue happen alot and I was told to disable bluetooth. But I also found i had to change my power saving options. It still happened every now and then after that but not as often. Basically the computer goes in airplane mode. I wondering if network manager controls bluetooth and wifi. Anyways I just thought id voice this knowledge to you. In all regards it is fixed from my end. ps i really appreciate the work you guys do to make such a robust OS. :) -hope this helps On 2020-08-04 4:08 p.m., Alex Hung wrote: > ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) > Status: Confirmed => Fix Released > -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1888894 Title: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 [168c:0042] Subsystem [1028:1810] Ubuntu 20.04: wifi drops and speed is degraded periodically To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1888894/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
