Hi Ronaldo, it seems you have installed but later disabled the mysql server.
Later upgrades then fail as they need to connect to the server on upgrade to check/do meta upgrades. You can see this in your log: Failed to stop mysql.service: Unit mysql.service not loaded. If you have it disabled, then you can as well uninstall it and be good. If you want it active and ugradable you have to adapt your configuration so that it runs - then the updates should work again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1890519 Title: package mysql-server-8.0 8.0.20-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: o subprocesso do pacote mysql-server-8.0, novo script pre-removal retornou erro do status de saída 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-8.0/+bug/1890519/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
