This issue causes the "System program problem detected" dialogue on every boot up on my end, similar to bugs #794757 and #95727. Checking the syslog after a boot up or killing and launching update-notifier via Terminal reveals the same Gtk-Message.
It has started appearing very recently (after 20.04.1 release), which leads me to believe that it is preventing my system from recognizing the new version to upgrade to. lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available.
