@John Hoff Looks good to me. Can you try again after changing [verb] 0x1a 0x707 0xc5
to [verb] 0x1a 0x707 0x5 The latter should be identical to your hda-verb command (0x707 is the encoding for SET_PIN_WIDGET_CONTROL) except that Early Patching modifies the hda configuration BEFORE initializing the codec. I'm curious if that makes it stick (ie continue working after you change sound sources or stop the music). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1851518 Title: [950SBE/951SBE, Realtek ALC298, Speaker, Internal] No sound on internal speakers, very very quiet on headphones To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1851518/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
