  At the end I had two packages that didn't install - the shim-signed was one 
of them.
  The package number is 1.40.3+15+1533136590.3beb971-0ubuntu1.
  
  I have an AMD64 processor - namely AMD Quad-Core A4-6210.
  
  Error message:
  Setting up grub-efi-amd64-signed (1.142+2.04-1ubuntu26) ...
  dpkg: error processing package grub-efi-amd64-signed (--configure):
   installed grub-efi-amd64-signed package post-installation script subprocess

   shim-signed depends on grub-efi-amd64-signed | grub-efi-arm64-signed;
