No, it doesn't appear to work:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ host abussos
Host abussos not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

This isn't usually a problem for me. What makes it a problem, is that
system-config-printer has substituted a name for the numeric address
that I provided. Keeping the server name the same as the one supplied,
without attempting to do a name lookup, would fix it IMHO.
