@Almir Mulanic, I'm having the same problem with the same computer (15-IIL), I've followed the comment you've mentioned and I'm running into a kernel panic.
Seems like it can't find the archive file "acpi_fixed.cpio" , even though it's inside /boot as it was mentioned in the comment. I have to edit grub entry and remove the /acpi_fixed.cpio in the beginning of the boot and than the computer comes up again (yet without touchpad). The "Be happy" line at the end of that comment didn't work for me :( What am I missing?
