First, delete any cached copy of the .deb in question as it may be corrupted. 
The package will be downloaded again when you reinstall it:
sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/libx264*
(Or, if you want to clear entire package cache, run: sudo apt clean)

Then you can try and reinstall the problematic package:
sudo dpkg --remove --force-remove-reinstreq libx264-155
