Public bug reported:

About half of the time I suspend my laptop, it locks up during the suspend
process. I believe this is the fault of the e1000 driver for two reasons:
 - I only have this problem if there is an ethernet cable plugged in. If I
remember to unplug the cable first, there are no problems.
 - If I suspend from a console, I am sometimes lucky enough to get this message:
e1000: eth0: e1000_request_irq: Unable to allocate MSI intterupt Error: -22
BUG: soft lockup detected on CPU#0!

My ethernet device is: "Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82573L
Gigabit Ethernet Controller" on a ThinkPad X60 Tablet.

Please let me know if there is anything more I can do to help with this
bug.
