While Lucid/10.04 did not receive extended support, Ubuntu has increased their
standard support life of LTS releases to 5 years, and also offers extended
security support: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases
I consider that satisfactory to close this bug report as Fixed. If there are
further questions about support life, please open a new question/bug.
