Hello,
On #iwd, they said, they're working on some changes there to turn off
periodic scanning with NM.
According to the iwd maintainer:
The reason for that is that wpa_s bgscan still scans every 20 seconds
or so, but it scans a reduced set. The iwd NM backend invokes the full
scan, which scans everything. This should be fixed in NM-iwd backend.
Not an issue in iwd itself since they don't scan periodically while
connected.
So this is a known-issue. A fix should come later.
Cheers,
Matt
