Public bug reported:

When attempting to run gpsfake, one get the error:

$ gpsfake -c 1 berlin.nmea
Processing berlin.nmea
gpsd:ERROR: can't bind to local socket /tmp/gpsfake-2088.sock
gpsd:ERROR: control socket create failed, netlib error -1
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/gpsfake", line 319, in <module>
    test.run()

    raise TestSessionError("daemon died")
gps.fake.TestSessionError

It's the same when run as root

Is it an apparmor error or non configured profile ?
