Public bug reported:
I have `python3-cysignals-pari` installed in Ubuntu 20.04. This provides
the python module cysignals.
But running `pip check` returns the following message:
pplpy 0.8.4 requires cysignals, which is not installed.
cypari2 2.1.1 requires cysignals, which is not installed.
The issue seems to be caused by missing metadata (either as egg-info or
dist-info). For example, I would've expected to see the folder
`cysignals-1.10.2.egg-info` in `/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages`.
Not sure if this counts as a bug, since it doesn't cause any loss of
functionality. Cheers!
