Thanks for your response Sebastian. I have checked this with Gutsy - Gaby 2.0.2-7.1ubuntu2 and see exactly the same issue.
The dialog has plenty of room on screen but it only occupies a portion of the screen. My resolution (now and before) is 1280x1024. I am using the standard Gnome desktop.
