Public bug reported:

Running Hardy, with gtk 2.12.3-1, metacity 1:2.21.2-0ubuntu2.

Whenever a GTK tooltip (like in the main menu, or toolbar buttons in
Epiphany, for example) appear, mouse buttons no longer work. Clicking
on anything has no effect at all. Furthermore, moving the cursor off of
the widget that invoked the tooltip does not immediately cause the
tooltip to disable. It takes a second or three for it to go away. This
basically results in tooltips popping up and disabling my desktop for
around 2 seconds at a time. This has been happening for a week or two
now, possibly ever since I upgraded to Hardy.

This is most noticable on bookmark toolbar entries in Epiphany, but it's
definitely happening in all other GTK based apps, too. This does NOT
happen with tooltips in Firefox, or with title-tag link/image tooltips
in the actual browser view of Epiphany. Only with the native GTK
tooltips.

** Affects: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
