Thanks for crossing this bug over to our Tracker. This seems to be another 
duplicate of #8647. The underlying problem is actually with Ruby/Amazon (a 
dependency of alexandria, used for the Amazon lookup). The version 
(libamazon-ruby 0.9.0)  commonly distributed in Debian & Ubuntu has a bug with 
the lookup of amazon sites other than amazon.com. This has commonly shown up 
with amazon.de (and I've only just started seeing the pattern of bug reports).


You should upgrade to libamazon-ruby 0.9.2 - I have prepared a deb file
for that version and it is available from the Alexandria website, here:

It looks like we need to update libamazon-ruby to 0.9.2 in Hardy.
Current in Hardy is 0.9.0

Maximilian: This won't be fixed for Gutsy since it is not a security
issue, sorry.
