Public bug reported:

Ubuntu MATE 20.10 with arctica-greeter no longer selects username
created during installation during first boot.

Per test case 1300 for Ubuntu MATE, step #20.

"The system boots properly and loads into Ubuntu MATE showing username
selected at step 15"

Expected outcome:

Username created during installation is selected and user can enter
password directly to login.

Actual outcome:

Instead user is required to selected the user they created during the
installation process in order to be able to login.
