Thank you for your bug report. Could you add your 'journalctl -b 0' log
after getting the issue?

gnome-screensaver is an old legacy component that isn't needed nor
installed nowadays so it's not what you need to lock the screen, you
should be able to test with that command though

$ dbus-send --type=method_call --dest=org.gnome.ScreenSaver
/org/gnome/ScreenSaver org.gnome.ScreenSaver.Lock
