Public bug reported:
The /exec-plugin from pidgin-plugin-pack fails to parse fortunes
correctly. Steps to reproduce:
1. Install fortunes: apt-get install fortunes
2. Run pidgin with /exec-plugin enabled
3. Send the message "!fortune" (without the quotes) to any contact.
Expected behaviour: The command "fortune" generates a random fortune
cookie which will both be printed for the sender and the receiver.
Actual behaviour: The receiver gets the fortune cookie as expected (you
can try this by adding yourself as a contact and sending the message to
yourself). For the sender, however, it is missing words (even complete
lines) and has a messed up layout - compared to the receiver's view.
Additional information: This is on a Gutsy x64 system with current
packages.
