It would be awesome if, following the introduction of a wbem service an
administrative interface a Wbem administration console would be
provided, at present there is a package called pywbem which provides
python bindings for wbem operations using this it would be quite
straight forward (having to work only on the UI) to add the needed
tools.
As an example all the tools availabe in Windows XP to administer a
computer even a home-edition are WBEM based and access the system
interfaces using this interface.
