Public bug reported:

(This may be related to bug 71647, but it's not clear that it is the
same.)

In Kubuntu Gutsy, with backports enabled, Dolphin does not properly
handle filenames with special characters. In particular, hashes are
treated as comments.

In terminal:
$ mkdir foo\#goo

In dolphin:
1. type foo#goo or foo\#goo into location bar OR click on foo#goo icon.
2. dolphin tries to open foo, not foo#goo.

This is a crippling bug in a file-manager, and it suggests (tough I have
not tested) that bulk deletes or moves are also affected, which could
lead to severe data loss.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Visibility changed to: Public
