I can confirm: its the monaco font that does it -or at least deleting it
makes things go away.

There's a mild security risk here: if a web page (or java applet?) can
get your render engine to crash by forcing in a specific font, your
system is vulnerable to DOS attacks at best, other pointer-related bugs
at worst.
