Public bug reported:

I installed snap and canonical-livepatch on my Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Server.

When i pass:

canonical-livepatch enable [My-Key]

i get following output after a few seconds:

sh: echo: I/O error
child exited with status 1

Trying again:

sh: echo: I/O error
child exited with status 1: File exists

Re installation of the snap is not working, also not resetting the
machine-id.
