After some clean up and removing the package you mentioned I managed to upgrade
with some hiccups.
The PC froze when the upgrade was at 80%
After reboot I continued with the usual apt update & upgrade & dist-upgrade
Reinstalled kisak/mesa and other ppa
$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
