I have quickpackaged the file uqbar linked to and it works fine for me, I can send files to my computer which was something I couldn't do before.
You can find the package at http://peppesbodega.nu/files/Packages/kdebluetooth_1.0-beta8-0quickpackage_i386.deb it's made for kubuntu 7.10, 32-bit. You have to uninstall libkbluetooth0 before you can install my package (don't know what it should be called really).
