Petri, I logged on to Skype. Clicked on to Main Menu. Clicked on Options. Clicked on Sound Devices on the left panel. Under Options for Sound In, Out and Ringing - Configured for Headset (hw; Headset,0) for my computer. Sound started working in Skype.
Made sure nothing muted. In Terminal mode try alsamixer or gnome-alsamixer to see if anything is muted. Hope this works for you! petri piton wrote: > How did you get the microphone to work in Skype pse? > > I assume that's the Linux version of Skype... many thanks > > -- > petri c piton > > ----- Message d'origine ---- > De : shar <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > À : [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Envoyé le : Mercredi, 5 Décembre 2007, 0h40mn 06s > Objet : [Bug 174107] no sound > > Public bug reported: > > Binary package hint: hal > > Sound okay until upgrade to Gutsy 7.10.
