I can see known bad kernel in description. However you forgot to name known good one.
1. Please tell us known good kernel. 2. Package: linux (not installed) It looks like you disabled kernel updates somehow. Could you re-enable them again? You can sudo apt install linux-[known good one] so that autoremove doesn't remove it. At least bad ones boot for you. They have security updates. 3. You have pci=noaer kernel parameter. Did you add that yourself? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1899042 Title: System slow when using updated kernel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1899042/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
