I rebooted and run updates again - still didn't work. Then I run 'apt autoremove' and the update system stopped trying to update/install that package - I guess it means it worked.
But then I went to GUI drivers tab, and there were two almost identical nvidia-driver-450 items. First was (binary, tested) and the second (the selected one) was (binary). But I always select (binary, tested), so thats what I did again, after that (and the reboot probably) the second item (binary) disappeared. I guess that means it is working, but the update definitely was NOT smooth. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1901392 Title: updated system after long time and it failed installing libnvidia- common-450 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-450/+bug/1901392/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
