I rebooted and run updates again - still didn't work.
Then I run 'apt autoremove' and the update system stopped trying to
update/install that package - I guess it means it worked.

But then I went to GUI drivers tab, and there were two almost identical
nvidia-driver-450 items.
First was (binary, tested) and the second (the selected one) was (binary). But
I always select (binary, tested), so thats what I did again, after that (and
the reboot probably) the second item (binary) disappeared.

I guess that means it is working, but the update definitely was NOT
smooth.
