I can confirm that upstream commit 0b8eb2ee9da1 "s390/cio: add cond_resched()
in the slow_eval_known_fn() loop" is already integrated in:
- focal / 20.04 - as 713670caca61 since Ubuntu-5.4.0-49.53 (current:
5.4.0.52.55)
- groovy / 20.10 - as f34ff724675f since Ubuntu-5.8.0-19.20 (current:
5.8.0.26.31)
(and since the hirsute kernel was just copied over from groovy, it's also in
hirsute).
Hence I'm closing this ticket as Fix Released.
