https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo/issues/2473 was closed because is a
duplicate of https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo/issues/2471

cinnamon upstream support seems only for latest stable version and good
only for short time, a few months later as the next release approaches
there are at most rare backports of important bugfixes and when new
version becomes stable nothing anymore

possibile new build for stable ubuntu versions packages I suppose will
be only for security or very important bugfix

I'm still using ubuntu 18.04 (with cinnamon) on my pc and notebook, I
not tested ubuntu 20.04 with cinnamon yet (I'll upgrade to it in future
when I'll have time) but I tested packages in debian Sid (where ubuntu
take them) and I not saw important bugs. If important bugfix is needed I
can try (free time permitting) to prepare an SRU
