Thanks for the reply! I tried your steps: - When using wayland, the flashing also doesn't occur on the desktop - Kernel 5.4.0-52 doesn't boot at all - Kernel 5.8.4 does boot, but the flashing is still there
Editing the gdm3 config file however, did fix the flashing on the log in screen. On both the 5.8 and 5.9 kernel edit: it seems the config file didn't work 100% as some of the times the log in screen still flashes.
