$ plocate --help
...
-r, --regexp interpret patterns as basic regexps (slow)
...
$ plocate -r xyzzy
plocate: invalid option -- 'r'
Note that `plocate --regexp xyzzy` works fine.
This is fixed in some upstream version (I tested by pulling in a docker
image of debian/sid, which has plocate 1.0.7).
