Hello, The automatic copy into the primary selection has been preventing pasting url with a middle-click in the address bar for many years and it is wonderful that is has been fixed.
For me, the current behaviour is the correct one and I would be sad if the change is reverted. Nevertheless, I believe CTRL-A should copy the url to the primary selection in order to be consistent with its behaviour on web pages and with the behaviour of the shift-arrow selection. If some users are confused by text highlighted as selected but not copied into the primary selection, then using a different look in such a case, like text in grey, would avoid any confusion. Cheers, Philippe. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1888942 Title: marked url in firefox by using one click isn't copied to clipboard, only with a triple mouse-click To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/1888942/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
