When I connect the hdmi cable from my monitor the laptop screen starts
to darken this only happens when I connect the external monitor.
when I switch to mirror the external monitor starts flickering and the
laptop monitor turns off completely.
When I switch to join displays, the laptop monitor turns off completely
and the external monitor stays on.
