I have the same problem. Some people found an workaround: "SOLVED # debug with sudo sssd -d9 -i # solution sudo cp /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sssd/conf/sssd.conf /etc/sssd/. sudo chmod 600 /etc/sssd/sssd.conf"
source: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2452209&p=13993643 In my case, I did this : sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sssd/conf/sssd.conf /etc/sssd/sssd.conf It work for me, but is it a "good/best practice" solution ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1900642 Title: sssd won't start To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sssd/+bug/1900642/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
