Public bug reported: Scilab packages for arm64 should contain modelica compiler.
The changelog line from 2017 mentions missed `ocamlopt`: > scilab (5.5.0~beta-1+git~20140406-1522-2) unstable; urgency=medium > > [ Matthias Klose ] > * Configure --without-modelica on arm64 and ppc64el, apparently the > package wants ocamlopt. > > -- Sylvestre Ledru <[email protected]> Tue, 08 Apr 2014 11:23:53 +0200 But this is no more issue as for today. This binary is available for arm64 - https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=groovy&arch=arm64&mode=exactfilename&searchon=contents&keywords=ocamlopt . Manual compilation of Scilab with `--with-modelica` results in fully- functional modelica compiler. So one can run Xcos with Modelica blocks without issues. Please remove `--without-modelica` from next releases of Ubuntu.
