every time that happens the following message is shown in syslog:
/usr/libexec/gdm-x-session[3330]: (EE) AMDGPU(0): drmmode_do_crtc_dpms cannot
get last vblank counter
Also, the monitors turn on one by one which means that all windows are
moved to the one that turns on first.
