Leann, I managed to perform the test today, and the bug can be reproduced on the latest development kernel as well.
I went through the numeric keys on the remote control, a couple of times, from 1 to 9 followed by 0 (so the 10 digit keys). After each round I pressed enter on the keyboard to separate the test result on the console. Here's a copy / paste from the console - as you can see, a large percentage of the keypresses was lost.
