Well, that's a pity, because it means that a manual kernel SRU is needed now. It's needed to make sure that someone who has the fix in focal and upgrades to groovy will not run into a regression situation.
I think the 'plan' for hirsute is still 5.11 - but it of course depends a lot on upstream.
