I suspect another process it taking the connection. I have had this issue on Ubuntu 16, 18, and 20. With .forward setup to email my personal address, this is really noticeable. I receive the Connection Lost email every boot, but no restored message. What is also interesting is that this error is logged in syslog every 10 minutes. When running `apcaccess status` it says "COMMLOST" for the status, however my OS is showing the battery level. I do not have `nut` installed, so I don't know what else would conflict with it.
