The headphone sound issue was temporarily resolved. I launched pavucontrol > input devices > and in the "sof-hda-dsp Headphone Microphone + Headset Microphone" I selected "Headphone Microphone" in the "Port" field. As default, the "Headset Microphone" is set.
I have no idea why this worked.
